I think this "Black Friday" business is trumped up to make shopping an "if I don't spend this weekend, I will never again get this awesome deal." Well, my time is worth something too, and I don't like being manipulated. I have received so many "awesome deals" in the mail, on TV, on my computer, and at the stores, that I am quite content to shop, when I want, at my own pace, and not frantically. I generally buy less and only get what I really need. Shopping is often taxing anyway, so doing it at night, with frantic crowds, under pressure, is real insanity! Come on, people!
